Elissa...

Here are some quick photos of Elissa at the Arboretum. She is so beautiful, and she has such a fun, adventurous spirit - I had so many beautiful shots that I spent more time picking my favorites than I did editing them! These are just a few of my faves.

Elissa, Thanks for being so much fun, and letting me play. :)

New site...

Well, I'm excited to say that my new web site is coming along nicely. I can't wait to get it up and running, and let you all see what's been in the works for the last month or so. I also just bought a lensbaby, and I'm having a great time playing. I'll post some shots that I took with it soon. They are so cool...

Anyway, we've been to several Ranger games in the last few weeks, and we'll go to another one tomorrow. It started with the game where Rusty Greer was inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame. Of course, I just had to take my camera. There's one shot below from that. Then, I got these really cool fireworks shots after the game - the Rangers have the best fireworks shows. If you ever get a chance to go to a game, try to see one with fireworks afterward. Anyway, I wanted to share these with you. I thought they were kind of cool.

We took our daughter and her friend to the last game. They're both 5, and so cute. We loaded them up on cotton candy and hot dogs, and they loved it! They were so into the game, cheering and doing the wave. It was so cute.

Ok, enough talking. More action. :)

My, how time flies...

Well, the kids are back at school, and I'm busy catching up. It's about time, I know, but my poor little blog has still not gotten the attention it deserves. Well, here I am to give it some TLC.

As always, there are a ton of things I want to post, but I'm going to have to just pick a couple and go with it. :) Last Saturday, I had the most amazing engagement shoot. Jackie and Chris are the sweetest, most fun couple - and very good-looking. They are so in love, and he LOVES to see her smile. They are a dream to photograph, and I absolutely cannot wait until the wedding!

Finally, something new... :)

I have been so crazy busy that I haven't had a chance to post anything from Jamie and Micah's wedding. Well, here it is.

This wedding went so smoothly. I can't imagine anything going any better. Jamie and Micah are two of the nicest people I have ever met. They are so incredibly in love, and incredibly beautiful. I was so honored to work with them, and so thankful that I've had the chance. Thank you so much for everything.

I also got the chance to shoot a reception at the college where I got my journalism degree, the University of North Texas. It brought back so many great memories being there again, and it was such a pleasure working with everyone there. It was absolutely beautiful, and I hear the food was great... :) I also got to work with Amy Lee again, her work is always so good. Check out the flowers...

Ok, enough of my rambling. Check these out... Oh, and click on the title to see their online album.

I'm back!!

Paris was amazing!! I learned so much, and learning from the best, truly. Scott Robert Lim is an amazing photographer, and I am so lucky to have the chance to learn from him. (his site is www.scottrobertphotography.com, in case you want to check it out.) As if learning alongside Scott wasn't enough, I met so many wonderful photographers. We had an amazing opportunity to shoot in a castle just outside of Paris - Arielle, another great photographer that came, was married there, and we had the place practically to ourselves. It was an amazing experience. Thanks, Arielle!!

This was in that great castle... isn't it beautiful?

And, the eiffel tower, of course...

In front of the castle - such a sweet moment.

These next two were taken the first day at the hotel.

This one, believe it or not was in the bathroom window in mine and Chryssy's room... :)

Look at this beautiful couple in front of the Louvre. They were really sweet - we worked them very hard...

This shot was actually taken in the Metro station...

Bonjour!!

Ok, ok...

I can't wait to share so many things with you guys... so, here goes.

Last weekend was a truly amazing wedding - Lauren and Prashanth. Not only are they really great people, but SO much fun! Plus, during the reception Lauren and two of her bridesmaids dressed in traditional, custom woven saris. They were beautiful... Prashanth's mom sent a flower petal to India to have the fabric woven to match the flowers. Not the only beautiful infusion of Prashanth's Indian heritage...

Speaking of caring details, every detail was so well-planned. Kudos to Lauren and Debbie for all their hard work. I also have to mention the DJ, David from Entertainmnet Sound FX (fx-entertainment.com.) He kept us all dancing! The ceremony was at Prestonwood Baptist Church - absolutely beautiful. They were so great, as always. Thanks, Shona! Prestonwood Country Club hosted the reception. The food was SO good. The cake was beautiful, too - another infusion of Indian culture. I didn't get to try it, but I'm sure it was great - there wasn't much left...

So much more is going on, but I'll have to fill you in later. It's too much for one post. :)

Ok, enough talking - check out a few of my favorites.

They are wonderful dancers. It was beautiful to watch.

Check out these flowers, too. Andy, the woman from A Man and a Woman floral design, dropped them off. I'm so glad I got the chance to see her! She's always so great to work with, and the flowers are ALWAYS amazing.
